Assessments

Scantron

The Archdiocese of Washington uses Scantron as a performance series adaptive, computer-based standardized test. The assessment is administered to students in grades two through eight. Parents and teachers are able to monitor student performance from a baseline score measured during fall testing to the end of the year score measured at spring testing.

Faith Knowledge Assessment

Each spring, the Faith Knowledge Assessment (FKA) is administered to students in grades 3-8. FKA is a norm-referenced computer-based assessment on archdiocesan religion standards and is aligned to the Forming Disciples for the New Evangelization Standards and Curriculum. It measures what students know, understand, and are able to model at each grade level.
