2/12 due 2/13: Today in class we completed an investigation on multiplying exponents with the same base and then completed #1-8 on text page 74. Homework is to complete the odd numbered problems on workbook page 197. Plan for a quiz on Friday (2/15).
2/11 due 2/12: Have your quiz signed and attach corrections. You can receive points back on you quiz for you corrections. Complete the Reteach 2-1 workshheet. All work must be done on loose leaf.

1/28 due 1/29: Complete the even numbered problems on workbook page 223. Plan for a Quiz on one and two step equations and word problems to be given on Wednesday, January 30th.
1/25 due 1/28: Complete #29-34 on textbook page 129. These word problems need to include all steps including defining the variable; writing a relate statement; writing, solving, and checking the equation; and a complete answer statement.

2/4 Review p. 103 answers. Begin assessment for ch 4. Write expository paragraph (6 sentences, topic/concluding with main idea and 4 supporting details (facts, examples, quotations). Use 1 Scholastic Scope aticle p. 10-12 or p. 13 or p. 20 Persuasive paragraph: Convince me to eat your favorite breakfast cereal.
2/5 Write narrative and descriptive paragraph in your notebook or on loose leaf (see examples on p. 101). Your topic for descriptive is any room or item you wish to describe. Use spatial order, 6 sentences (topic/concluding with main idea and 4 supporting details). Your narrative paragraph uses chronological order and your topic is dismissal last Friday during snow day.
