School Uniform
Students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 wear a neat uniform that not only manifests the equality of all students, but also enhances the learning environment. Complete HRS uniforms can be purchased from Flynn & O'Hara. Non-branded uniform pieces may also be purchased at other retailers provided they meet the criteria outlined in the HRS Handbook. You can also contact the school office to shop our small selection of second hand uniform pieces.

Uniform Overview
Below is a basic outline of the various uniforms required for HRS students. Please see the HRS Handbook for the full details of our uniform policy.
Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Uniform- Black fleece shorts or sweatpants with HRS logo
- Burgundy t-shirt with HRS logo
- Optional: Gray sweatshirt with HRS logo or Burgundy hooded sweatshirt with HRS logo
- Tennis shoes (black or white) – no light up shoes
- Shoe laces (black or white) – no mix match laces
- White knee or crew socks (no logo) above the ankle
Grades 1st - 8th Dress Uniform
Students in grades 1-8 are in the dress uniform three days a week and the PE uniform two days a week.
Girls Grades 1-5 Dress Uniform
- Burgundy/gray plaid jumper (knee length)
- Tan khaki dress slacks or walking shorts (no cargo, cuffs, or rivets)
- Long or short-sleeved white oxford shirt (pointed collar)
- Burgundy Polo with HRS logo – only to be worn with the khaki shorts or slacks
- Optional: burgundy vest, cardigan, or pullover sweater
- Brown leather belt
- Burgundy or white tights
- Burgundy or white knee socks
- White crew socks (no logo) above the ankle
- Brown leather or suede dress shoes such as, bucks, loafers, or oxfords
Girls Grades 6-8 Dress Uniform
- Tan khaki skirt (knee length)
- Tan khaki dress slacks or walking shorts (no cargo, cuffs or rivets)
- Long or short-sleeved white oxford shirt (pointed collar)
- Optional burgundy vest, cardigan, or pullover sweater
- Burgundy Polo with HRS logo
- Brown leather belt
- Burgundy or white tights
- Burgundy or white knee socks
- White knee or crew socks (no logo) above the ankle
