In October, the Holy Redeemer School Home and School Association (HSA) hosts a large event that includes a chip-timed 5K, 1K Kids costume fun-run, and fall activities, such as pumpkin painting. The flat, fast, and scenic 5K course starts and finishes at Holy Redeemer School, and takes runners along the College Park Trolley Trail and Paint Branch trail to beautiful Lake Artemesia and back. After the run, families participate in a variety of fun fall activities hosted by our local Girl Scout troop.
This event is the largest Holy Redeemer School fundraiser, providing new and innovative educational opportunities to the students. All profits from the event benefit the HRS Home and School Association (HSA), which raises funds for educational resources that cannot be covered by tuition. This includes enhancing educational programs, enrichment materials, events, field trips, and community building events.
