The deadline to apply for the State of Maryland BOOST Scholarship Program is rapidly approaching on June 15, 2017. BOOST provides scholarships for some students who are eligible for the Free and Reduced-Price Meals program to attend eligible, nonpublic schools, like Holy Redeemer School. This application requires documentation to be scanned and uploaded in PDF format to show 1) pursuit of enrollment in a potential participating school, and 2) proof of the reported household income.

Important Notes:
If you received a BOOST scholarship last year, you are legislatively guaranteed to receive one for this year so long as you are still income-eligible. However, you MUST REAPPLY!

There is over $1.2 million in “new money” to be given out this year.

Applications may be completed on or before June 15, 2017 at: webportalapp.com/sp/msdoe. The application takes about 15 minutes to complete. Please be sure to have your 2016 tax forms and information about tuition assistance awards for the 2016-2017 school year on hand. If you need a letter from the school as proof of enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year, a request needs to be made to Mrs. Rosen as soon as possible.
