Holy Redeemer School’s special education and resource program is designed to meet our mission of providing a Catholic education to all students. Students with learning differences can receive specialized instruction and accommodations through an accommodation plan to ensure that their learning needs are met in the classroom.
Our special education/resource teacher works closely with classroom teachers to provide instruction and accommodations. Students receive instruction both in the general education classroom through co-taught lessons or small-group instruction, and outside of the classroom with specialized small-group lessons. Our special education teacher and faculty work closely with the PGCPS Child Find Office and private evaluators to assess students and determine their needs. The special education/resource program is designed to meet the needs of all students, while providing instruction and supports in the least restrictive environment to help all students find success.
"Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way."
